Hearts in the World introduces a new Street Art Event, inaugurated with Hearts in Athens 2008, where sculptures of Hearts abandon the usual gallery style exhibition and are transported into the street, under the sky, without entry fees, without walls, without roofs.

Heart sculptures in various shapes and size, sponsored by the business community are painted, sculptured or artfully transformed by painters, sculptors, graffiti artists, designers and other aspiring creators and will be exposed in pre-selected, busy parts of the city.

Multi-coloured, red, white, luminous, sculptured, romantic, in Love artistic hearts used as an art media, will climb into the lamp posts, will swim into water fountains, will fill the streets and the squares of Athens.

We will admire them, we will love them and we will judge them.

We will touch them and they will touch us with their sensitivity and their messages.
